About David
Hi, my name is David. I am from Dallas, Texas, and moved to Los Angeles in 2014. I really love all of what the West Coast has to offer, in terms of the people, the climate, and the scenery.
Tutoring is such a big passion of mine because not only do I love seeing people learn, but I also see the opportunities that education can give to my students. Having worked with many teenagers and young adults, I have seen them be able to enter the fields that they wanted because of their dedication to learning.
Besides tutoring high school and college students in the United States, I also volunteer with organizations to teach Ukrainians through remote learning. One of the organizations I volunteer at is ENGin, where I help Ukrainians practice speaking the English language. Another organization I volunteer with is called Tutoring Without Borders. There, I teach Ukrainian students both English and Math.

Other Interests
I am a music lover and I love all kinds of music, but especially pop music. My favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Olivia Rodrigo. I think that music is such a powerful force for spreading positivity in our world, and I have deep love for pop artists because they speak up on so many important social justice issues.
I am also vegan and love bringing delicious foods for my students to try. We have so much fun sharing things like cupcakes and muffins with each other, and it's so awesome that we can all be a part of a more sustainable world.
